www.greenpowerscience.com This solar stove took about 10 minutes to throw together and we actually use this on almost every sunny day. It can cook frozen chicken, or turkey burger meat in under 20 minutes. This is a much safer method of cooking than the Fresnel Lens.

This is a Joule Thief LED/charger circuit that is being driven automatically by a modified ‘solar garden light’ circuit. In this video I show energy being gathered by a solar cell and put into a 50 farad 2.3 volt supercapacitor. When the light is removed from the solar cell the Joule Thief circuit automatically turns on a white LED and the red charge indicator LED turns off. While the white light is on, energy recovery is shown happening as energy flows into a second but smaller capacitor raising it to a higher voltage than the first.
