when soldering the solar cells you will not need a Pencil Erasers
unless the soldering points are dirty, you need to have the white on that is made of real silver most of the time the flux in the solder will clean it for you, the Easiest solder to use and melts at low heat is rosin core solder 60/40 it has the flux in it and a low watt soldering iroin is best around 20watt no higher then 40 watt to hot solder will not stick and can damage the solar cells
