How to build a Solar Panel from Solar Cells DIY Part 1 This is a video of how I build solar panels from single solar cells wired in series. This is a great DIY “do it yourself” Green power project. These solar panels are very powerful and following these steps you will be able to make them for 1/3 of what they sell them for in the stores. If your looking to get off the grid or just drop your electric bill this is perfect for you! Stay tuned for up and coming parts. I will seal these solar panels and test them in up and coming videos. This guy looks like the guy from Transformers!lol. Ive been playin with this stuff since i was 10. Any idea if its possible to make the individual cells outside of a factory?

where can I get some cells?
Did I hear you say that each of your solar cells generate 4 watts each or are they 1.8 watts each? Most cells I find online only generate 1.8 watts.
duos it matter if the cells are touching or must there be a small space between them???
A word of warning, don’t try to use a scraper on tempered glass like this guy did. Tempered glass scratches easily. Better to use non-tempored glass for this project I think. Also, get glass wet before trying to scrape dirt from it.

You mentioned blocking diodes, how do you put them in? Also do you use it? on positive and negative side? What size?
