why aint out on e-bay yet ??
@vevenaneathna Thanks.. good info I wondered about the organic part.

Couldn’t agree more, but negative criticism isn’t going to start fixing things, its just going to make people angry.
Who cares if the ice caps are melting or not, I’d like cheaper energy.
I just wish we could leave the political views out of energy and just look at it from an analytical stand point.
@tomterahedrob
The problem is currently, our devices are made to charge with high amperage (relatively)
Low amperage slow charging will permanently damage your device.
(i dont know exactly why but i would guess it allows the lithium to react with something like nitrogen in the air instead of the intended cathode)
also, because they said the film is organic, I expect it has a shelf life.
Its a good start, but there are much more improvements needed to be made before you can make use of it.
Don’t worry! Jesus has enough free power to light up the world! From what I hear, these incredible breakthroughs are already fully operational for all in the realm of the spirit!
All we have to do is go into that more real spiritual realm to partake of them readily supplied by God for everyone! All/ All real breakthroughs in this life will be preempted by the rich who seem to benefit most! This disparity is due to the heart of man being evil the Bible says/
@UpBeatnik Global warming my ass. We have observed global temperatures actually dropping for last 8 years. Yet Global Warming is still a nice excuse to tax people.
And what happened to our beloved Ozone Hole? It was supposed to kill humanity quite a few years ago.
When folks who can’t predict weather accurately a week in advance talk about global climate change in years, I can just laugh.
you can bet that this product wont be on the market any time soon.. at least not until it powers stealth bombers and other military grade things first eh? its a shame that most likely Konarka is already a sell out
What the hell are they waiting for?
Upbeatnik any new news? when its going to be out? and we all get cheap panels ..
your the typical american that has no culture
Our ignorant fellow citizens who are to consumed with their own self absorption to stand against our satanic, psycho, fascist, govt. are the reembodyment of the spine less Good German citizens of the 1930s and 1940s. Clint Hershey

These flexible cells have been around for decades.Theyd be ideal for backpackers. Why cant we buy them NOW?
I know of a product that uses these products.
I E-mailed Konarka a couple months ago asking “are any Konarka products available for sale to the public?”
The answer I got back: “Nope. Sorry!”
I read about these folks awhile back and it sounded VERY exciting.
Here’s our problem friends, the government receives TONS of money through fuel excise taxes.
to take-out the people’s fuel consumption would break them..hehe
so get out there and buy an SUV!
or excise tax the sun…
lma…thanks fo rht eshow!
Good Question!!!
As much as I appreciate the challenges and hassles entailed when dealing with the general public, I too wish the solar companies would recognize how important adoption of solar and other renewable power sources is for all sectors of society. The sooner we get these products in the hands of as many people as possible, including individuals, the faster we gain energy independence and start to address the biggest challenge ever to face humanity, GLOBAL WARMING!!

When are most of these solar companies going to market this type of technology for residential applications? I contacted a few solar companies that make thin film solar & they tell me that they are only doing commercial applications.
Dont sell out to corp, sell it to the people!!
why are they putting rfid technology in this?
great, it’s the only way to resolv energy problem, decrease the cost of photovoltaic materials
