PARABOLIC MIRROR 55.7″ PARABOLOID SOLAR POWER STEAM GENERATION Giant Death Ray

This is the second video with the 55.7″ Parabolic Dish. The water boiled in 90 Seconds from 50F. The container is a Venom Energy Drink made out of thicker gauge Aluminum. I added some black paint to the back but kept the from because it is a cool design. The drink was too sweet for me:-) This dish was slightly damaged so I softened the dents and corrected the surface. This dish is operating at full strength even with the slight damage. It was like that when I got it. I decided to test this one incase something happened that way I did not damage a near perfect dish. This one also has a center hole for mounting.

Great if you’re in California, not so great if you’re in England.

Deff the first YouTube vid I’ve ever seen that was interrupted by the Goodyear blimp lol, nice work if we could only make this method much much smaller and we could use this for an every day method for cooking

Ive been watching your vids..pretty cool but i have a question. All i see is water being boiled, whats the practical purpose of a parabolic mirror? Surely people aren’t spending a thousand bucks to boil bottles of water in amazement lol

  • okaldp says:

    Very interesting

Have you tried plasing a concentrating lens in the g spot infront of the mirror?

I wander what comes out from the lens

Is GoodYear a sponsor? You guys live in a noisy neighborhood :) . Thanks for the videos

  • tarrasque420 says:

Goodyear blimp ha-ha should have used your laser on it. I have no idea what you’re trying to make but did you try to use highly reflective chrome spay paint that you can find at Wal-Mart?

  • FalconBlancoSpain says:

There is no information given in this video. Boring…

  • ricochetVendetta says:

SHould have focused the mirror on the blimp and blown it up lol

  • 1foxtrot70 says:

Hey Dan – In reference to the Goodyear Blimp going by, I see a possible product of some sort of noise cancelling circuit for microphones like those for headphones.

  • johnnycadilac1 says:

you got good idees men, but you gatta make your devices more “complete” like some practical finished product….i dont see myself standing there to get water boilling….could say the same with your Tesla turbine….send me links if im wrong…

  • nerdylicious360 says:

  • thegools says:

That is insanely expensive. I like the idea but I will stick with my charcoal grill.

How did make this? Can one make this at home?

  • huckbeduck says:

@AutoteckO8 I agree an arc welding helmet would be better, you can still see fine through them if you are in direct sunlight
