Solar Pool Heating, Heat your pool for free, Equal thermal hear transfer with less money and time

How to heat your pool with solar energy. Cost around 0 and 2 to 3 hours of your time. This is more appealing then placing a garden hose on your roof. It provides equal thermal transfer with less time and money.

An idea for ya , make a manifold feed each hose independently which would increase the flow in a huge way , might even flow all the water from the filter pump so use a ball valve to controll it.Make it from 1 and a 1/2 pvc pipe with tee’s adapted to your hose size. The trick to solar pool heating is enough flow to soak up every ounce of heat the tubing can absorb and put it into pool. Ideally your intake temp and out let will be a degree or 2 diff but max flow will turn pool water over fast

@frontwing67 Thanks, and the tubing does not get to hot theres cooler water always running thru it.

The idea is good but the impact on water temps are about zero with his flow.

    Man, you’re good.

Nice setup, most of all the part where it splits up and the possibility to shut different directions off with the valves.
Got me a pool as wel but I dont think Im going to put it on the edge though.
Dont forget to warn guests that come over for a swim not to rest their arms on the black tubing and end up with burns.

Just curious how many gallon pool you have? Do you have to cover it at night? Thanks I’m in Michigan so you know we only have maybe 2 months :)

very good idea- wanted to ask you where you found the plastic panels and clips to attach the hose to- also is that regular garden hose or a special high temp hose
